Our Team

Kirk Nuzum, CEO/Cofounder of Geothermix, LLC, has spent most of his career working as a geologist in the oil and gas industry. As a geologist, Nuzum spent much of his time directing drilling operations, creating development plans for horizontal wells, and mapping the subsurface. Nuzum has a MS in Geology from the University of Idaho where he conducted research on geothermal systems.

Dr. Mukul Sharma, Chairman/Cofounder of Geothermix, LLC, is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin where he has been for 35 years. His research includes hydraulic fracturing, oilfield water management, formation damage and improved oil recovery.
